Privacy notice
Uncle Wonees and the quote request form at ltc-eg.com/en/wonees/. Last updated 18 October 2026.
Who we are
LEWA TOURS (LTC – Lewa Tours), 19B Adly Street, Downtown Cairo, Egypt, a travel company licensed by Egypt's Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities (licence 611, category A). We decide how your data is used on this page. Contact for any privacy question: sales@ltc-eg.com with the subject "Privacy request".
Uncle Wonees is an AI assistant
Uncle Wonees is a computer program, not a person. Its answers are generated by an AI model and can be wrong. It does not quote prices, take bookings or take payments. Prices, availability and bookings are confirmed only in writing by the LTC team.
What we use, and why
| What | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Your chat messages | To generate Uncle Wonees's replies. Messages are sent through our server to our AI provider, Anthropic, and the reply is sent back to you. Our chat server does not keep a copy of your messages. The conversation stays in your browser tab and is cleared when you close it or press "New chat". | Our legitimate interest in answering your questions, and steps you ask for before a possible contract |
| Your quote request: name, e-mail, phone, country, dates, travellers, the hotels or ships you added, your notes and your last chat questions | To prepare your quote and contact you about it | Steps you ask for before a contract |
| Analytics cookies (Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel) | To understand how the page is used and measure our advertising | Your consent, only if you press "Accept" |
| Technical data (IP address, browser) | To deliver the page and protect the service from abuse, for example a limit on messages per minute | Our legitimate interest in running a secure service |
Please do not type passport numbers, card numbers or health details into the chat. Long numbers that look like card numbers are removed before a message is processed.
Who receives your data
- Anthropic (AI model provider) processes chat messages to produce replies. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, content sent through its API is not used to train its models.
- Cloudflare hosts our chat server.
- Our sales systems receive quote requests: an automation service (Make) and LTC's sales and customer systems, including HubSpot and Google Sheets.
- WhatsApp (Meta) or your e-mail provider, which carry your quote request to us when you send it.
- Google and Meta, for analytics cookies, only if you accept them.
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in Egypt, the European Union and the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on the safeguards these providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are kept for as long as we need them to handle your request and any booking that follows, and for as long as the law requires us to keep booking and accounting records. You can ask us to delete your request at any time.
Cookies
Analytics and advertising cookies load only after you press "Accept" on the cookie bar. If you decline, the chat and the quote form still work. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the Uncle Wonees page. We remember your choice in your browser's local storage.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit or object to how we use it, receive a copy, or withdraw your consent to cookies. Write to sales@ltc-eg.com with the subject "Privacy request". If you are in the UK or the European Union, you can also complain to your data protection authority, for example the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.
Changes
If we change how we use your data, we will update this notice and the date at the top.
